Overall a good set of arrows. Does not come with inserts installed. Be diligent in preparing the inside for glueing as i had a hard time getting some to set right. I used them with 125 and 150 grain points and even though they are 340 spine, they worked best for me with a 40 pound longbow.Hands down best arrow for the money. They have a matte finish,I like alot.I shoot a 50# recurve, with 28" draw.I ordered 30" shafts, installed 7" wraps,4" feathers,100 grain brass inserts and the nocks that came with shafts. Also I use 200 grain points. I will say this arrow flys like a dart.By the way these shafts are spined 340.I like the arrows for the price they are tuff an very straight. They fly well. I shot them at 100 yards to 20 yards and did not have any problems. The pic of cobra is at 40 yards. And the group of arrows at 60 yards. These arrows are trash. One of the arrows was a different spine and had I shot it could have exploded so I fletched it up for my five year old. So make sure you flex test these before shooting. Also the wood grain costing is coming off just from pulling out of a target and it's all discolored and turning black from rubbing the target foam. I have been shooting archery a long time (over 20 years) and I will never shoot cheap arrows again. I only bought these because my carbon express predator heritage arrows are no longer made. Never again will I go cheap on arrows or order arrows from Amazon with a name I trust. These are great shafts. If you're expecting the same quality as $150 shafts you're going to be disappointed, but these are excellent for the price. They fly very well out of my 65# Ross Cardiac. Also, the customer service is incredible. I bought 2 dozen, and one of the shafts was damaged in shipping. I emailed the company and they immediately shipped our 2 replacement arrows and a pack of lighted nocks as an apology. Highly recommended. For the price, they're a good bargain. Probably they're biggest drawback is the faux wood grain wrap on the arrow. The design and looks are fine but the quality of the wrap isnt great. Has a tendency to chip off when you cut them. Also I still have my reservations on the hardiness of the actual construction of the arrow. I've hit a few harder objects out stump shooting which have caused cracks at the ends. Where as my bemans didnt. That being said, I'm using hot melt type glue for the inserts and not the normal super glue I usually use. Hot melt doesnt adhere as well as super glue so your losing some of the mechanical properties of the glue bond to distribute a hard hit. The wrap does hold up fairly well though to the heat when removing the inserts, you've just got to be careful not to over heat the area. All in all, a pretty good bargain for a dozen wood grain carbons at being over half the price for a brand name. Are they as good? Eh, I dunno. Time will tell, but I'd recommend them to a friend!?
